Dog Rescue/Welfare:

Mission Statement:

The Bull Terrier Club of Puget Sound's  rescue committee is available for ongoing support and advice to help Bull Terriers remain in their homes. If this is not an option, we find suitable homes for adoptable Bull Terriers. A Bull Terrier being given up for adoption can remain in it's current home until a new home is found, or if space is available, it may be taken into foster care.

To Sponsor a Bully in need...

It takes special people to look after displaced animals. Rescue animals may need crates, special health care, temperament examinations, behavior training, and special nutrition. This can be costly, and if you would like to provide a donation to assist a Bully in need, please contact Susan Hilliard susanhilliard@whidbey.net, or Jennifer Forest jforest1@msn.com .

Meet Lucy!

Lucy is a 6 year old brindle and white spayed female.  She is a lovely dog in the house: housetrained, crate trained and walks on leash.  She's very affectionate and wants to sit next to you on the sofa and push her head under your hand.  She loves to splash and play with the water in her bath. She is wary of strangers and will alert you to them but also warms immediately to them when introduced. She is good with kids and should be supervised around cats or other dogs.  She enjoys playing in the back yard.  She has had professional training in good manners and will be a loving and fun addition to your home.

If you are interested in adopting Lucy please fill out on adoption application at www.btca.com.

Or email Susan at susanhilliard@whidbey.net if you'd like more info on Lucy.
